When I received my NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog last month, this was one of the first things I put on my wish list. It is a new Simply Sent Card Kit called Sweet Hello. The kit comes with 8 printed, embossed notecards and these adorable little self adhesive pink ribbon flowers with pearl centers for only $11.95. The Thanks greeting is from a Summer Mini set called Watercolor Trio.
My first card with the kit took me all of 30 seconds to complete. For my second card, I wanted to use a different embellishment and chose the Subtles Flower Brads. The brads are a bit heavier than the ribbon flowers, so I decided to cut off the back of the notecard and layer it on a Baja Breeze card base. I changed the orientation of the card and added a greeting from On Your Birthday.
You might notice that the middles of the Subtles Flower Brads are white. They do not come that way. I added a bit of Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink in Moonlight #119969. So not only are the white, they have a nifty shimmer. :-) You can click on the images to view them larger.
